Utility Construction Project Manager
Location: Texas Headquarters, located in The Colony, TX

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, communicates effectively with both field and office personnel, and has a proven track record of delivering utility construction projects safely, on time, and within budget. Experience managing projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area and maintaining strong relationships with municipalities, inspectors, and clients is highly desirable.
We’re looking for you to do the following:
1. Manage multiple utility construction projects simultaneously from pre-construction through project completion
2. Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion
3. Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
4. Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
5. Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, engineers, municipalities, inspectors, and clients
6. Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and scope of work
7. Identify and resolve project issues while minimizing schedule and financial impacts
8. Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout documents
9. Conduct regular project site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
10. Ensure projects comply with company safety standards, OSHA regulations, and local municipality requirements
11. Lead project meetings and provide progress updates to executive leadership
12. Work closely with estimating and operations teams during project turnover
13. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners
You Have:

3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
4. Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
5. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
6. High level of professionalism and accountability
7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
8. Experience with project management software such as Procore, HCSS, HeavyJob, HeavyBid, Viewpoint, or similar platforms preferred
Preferred Experience:
1. Commercial utility construction
2. Municipal utility projects
3. Water distribution systems
4. Sanitary sewer systems
5. Storm drainage systems
6. Utility relocation projects
7. Dry utility coordination
8. DOT or public infrastructure projects
9. Working with cities throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex
