Our Commitment to Community
John Burns’ Giving Team was established to champion employee-led philanthropy and
expand our impact beyond the jobsite. Rooted in our mission to connect people and imporove their lives, the giving team
creates opportunities for charitable giving, strategic partnerships, and
hands on volunteerism across the communities we serve. Through this commitment, we have
contributed over $2 million to organizations throughout the City of Chicago, creating measurable

Annual Charity Shootout
On June 5th, 2025 John Burns held our 10th Annual Charity Clay Shootout. We’d like to humbly thank all of our Donors and Participants for joining us. We raised over $150,000 this year! Following the event, our Giving Team met and distributed to the following Charities:

John Burns is proud to support Convoy of Hope’s mission by actively participating in fundraising and community-driven initiatives throughout the Chicago area. Through employee engagement and charitable events, our team helps raise funds and awareness that directly contribute to Convoy’s hunger relief, disaster response, and community outreach programs. These efforts reflect our commitment to connecting people and improving lives by extending our impact beyond the jobsite and into the communities we serve. In December 2025, over 20 John Burns employees and their families worked alongside Convoy of Hope to distribute 1,000 bags of groceries to families in the Chicagoland area.
