John Burns Construction Company successfully completed the removal and replacement of a critical clarifier system as part of a water treatment facility upgrade. The scope included installation of a new clarifier, scum trough, skimmer blade, bridge/walkway extension, and center pier with drive assembly. Due to the operational demands of the facility, the project required a highly compressed schedule. All new equipment had to be delivered and staged prior to taking the existing system offline. Once the clarifier was shut down, the John Burns team executed the complete removal and installation within an accelerated two-week window, ensuring minimal disruption to the plant’s operations.
