PROJECT OVERVIEW

About This Project

John Burns Construction played a critical role in the development of a large-scale data center facility, delivering comprehensive telecommunications and site infrastructure solutions in a high-demand, mission-critical environment. The scope of work included full telecommunications installation, supporting the backbone of the facility’s connectivity systems. This encompassed underground conduit systems, duct banks, and coordination with utility providers to ensure seamless integration into the broader network infrastructure. In addition to telecom, John Burns executed hard rock excavation operations, overcoming challenging subsurface conditions to maintain schedule and prepare the site for structural and utility installation. Precision planning and field execution ensured safe, efficient removal and grading in a demanding geological environment. The team also performed concrete construction and utility infrastructure installation, including pads, encasements, and supporting structures necessary for both telecom and electrical systems. Coordination across trades was essential to maintain alignment with strict data center tolerances and timelines. Throughout the project, John Burns maintained a strong focus on quality control, safety, and schedule adherence, delivering work that met the rigorous standards required for data center construction.
